something stupid...
« on: March 26, 2013, 10:18:27 PM »

but we like a challenge.
we bought the canalboat advertised on the forum and promised to keep a diary.
it needs to become the Musn Grumble from sheffield, and on the day of presentation tow the real life version through the sheffield canal with a tug.
we are still waiting for the drawings of the canal boat, so attention got focussed on the Chiba Star salvage tug.
repairing damage from long term storage, reviving electrics and keeping grand dad's project going for a next generation.
pictures will follow soon, the deadline is september but after waiting for half a year its tight.

thats my dad his first boat, build 1979 with originally working steam engine.
original name is Blazer
internals of the chiba Star, build in 1982 by my grand dad
external picture. this is my boat now, and new harbour is theddlethorpe after the job in sheffield.

after the boat stays in the uk, and my dad is in the uk too we can travel to cleethorpe for a few hours and perhaps some playing.
the helmets in the pictures are part of my military hobby, diffirent story, and off topic
cheers, arjan and klaas.
