Don't forget the date order when stacking,

Haha customers at Sainsburys used to love making a mess and roving to the back of the shelf to get the longest dates, never used to check though, so I used to push all the old stuff to the back, they mess up my display, they get the short dates! The nice customer taking from the front of the shelf got the reward of getting a long date!

As for the weekend, I'm supposed to be going to Santa Pod, but it's looking less likely.

If any of you are working this weekend you have my sympathy. Been there, done that, earlies, afternoon and night shifts, 365 days a year. Lots of time owing to me I could'nt take,  lots of annual requests declined.

I have this Easter weekend 'free' apart from a visit to N.Wales; seems really strange to have time to myself but as usual the weather will dictate what we all do.

We're in our caravan at the Jondaryan Woolshed, about 40km east of Dalby on the western Darling Downs of Queensland (look it up in your atlas :-)  ) with 5 other couples. We always go away as a group each Easter somewhere within a 300 or 400km radius of home. After Easter 3 couples, ourselves included, are going further west to St George and then Goondiwindi, probably Moree and home through Tenterfield.

Working as well, as usual.

All the best to Dave and Rachel for the upcoming nuptials from me too.

My wife and I have just passed the 25 year mark, not been as bad as some might say....looking forward to our celebratory cruise in a months time, not enough time to build boats, so just save up to sail on them!

Sorry CPM1.......last night according to the OZ version of the BBC.....all of the ponies & larger horses have disappeared  from Wales......true documentary....I am sure it would have recently been screened in the UK.....most disturbing images & stories  >>:-( it also suggested the recent [meat] protein substitution has been illegally practised for a number of years
Moderators..... please excuse the above comments as being off thread, however we wouldn't want CPM1 & wifey searching all of Northern Wales for a few ponies if they are all gone   <:(  ....Derek

There are still semi-feral ponies in N Wales, about 200. Up behind Stavros's home town, on the Carneddau mountain range.
But I think CPM1's wife was looking at keeping a few horses of her own.

Hi all, thanks for the messages guys, much appreciated. Wide awake at 5am, so much for having a lie in!

Hope you have a great birthday and anniversary tomorrow Stav. We're heading down North/West Wales on Monday for our week off so the weather could be anyone's guess Neil but it was lovely and sunny when I was down that way on Thursday.

Dave.  :-))

On this side of the world I am going to the Easter Agricultural and Pastoral Show in Auckland with the grandkids. No point in trying to go sailing - the drought that has been going on since Boxing Day means that you need a step ladder to get from the edge of the lake down to the water level, there is not enough depth of water for the yachts and the smell of rotting lily pads as they die from being out of the water would put you off anyway. Roll on the rains! Ian.

Well I've just got back from N.Wales -definitely God's country! Love the place  :-))
However bank balance is still safe as SWMBO did not like any of the small holdings we saw. As a reward for being very good all day I now have permission to go and sail my boat tomorrow  :-)  (weather permitting)

Trying to finish my new Very small workshop so I can at least have some space to work on getting the motor back into my Anteo and prep a space to build my upcoming Eldergarth.

Who knows if that happens Might even get to sail with the Guys at the Edinburgh Model Boat Club that I joined a month ago and have never had the spare time to visit since  {:-{

Yesterday enjoyed watching Leicester Tigers routing Northampton.  Today once the it warms up to
about 4 degrees I am going to get well wrapped up and head out for some flyfishing.
Tomorrow great job of Poo Picking - clearing horse dropping from paddock (done about weekly)
The joys of being a horse owners husband, but does score many brownie points.

Hi Geoff. a good Dutch friend once told me you should never keep anything that eats while you are asleep & then bought 6 cows & a 100 chickens because his wife liked them & wanted to play farmer, looks like you are in the same boat, pardon the pun, good luck my friend, two dogs are enough for me.
