1:150 scale U-Boat IXB motorised version by Academy.

My Academy 1:150 scale U-Boat IXB motorised diving version came this morning.
So, what do you get?
You get a good quality plastic hull and parts, thick plastic, seperate section for battery compartment-this is bolted to the sub. RE-280 motor with copper terminals and wiring, grease, gasket, prop. Movable steering vanes-hand, moveable rudder via connecting rod from radar unit on sail. Decals. Good set of instructions.
I was doubtful of this set due to the price, £22 delivered, but the quality is good. Ideal for sub builders as a static kit and first timers to get into the world of diving subs without breaking the bank.

My models are not nice, clean and ship-shape. They be mucky, grubby, rusty and smelly.
