steam tug of the 1950s applegarth, rosegarth?

Has any of the guys  built one of these tugs if so do you think l should fit stabalizes to the hull, the hull is 3foot x 1foot. I have a set of original ship builders plans but it does"nt show any, do you think it would benefit to fit them now during the build or retro fit them later.
