Acid Gel Batterys
« on: April 03, 2013, 06:15:53 pm »

This is a just make sure question. I have two sealed acid gel battery's and was wondering if I could lay them on their side in the hull I.E. Lower center of gravity

Thanks

No problem
The only thing to realise is that SLAs are lighter at the top
Therefore think about the balance when they are laid down.

As Netleyned says no problem, if they are difficult to remove/fit lying flat
do as I do glue a ribbon/webbing finger loop to the battery
or tie a piece of string around them so that they can be removed easily.
better than pulling them out by the connection wires.
