Thing I wonder about about tools like the belt sander,  are replacement belts etc available at local DIY shops and are they  the same size as say Black and Decker   ?  Been caught like this before with a sander, the belts were a b******* size and nothing I could find would fit. Tried making belts to fit by cutting and welding with hot weld but did not turn out satisfactory.

once you find the size you can generally get new belts etc from ebay, but they usually have some on sale at the same time, so I generally get a few spares at the same time.

I had a new b and d belt sander about 15 years ago, bought by my wife for a birthday. Could not get new belts for it anywhere! even they didn't have them. sold it a boot fair for 15 and bought a bisch one.

Plenty of belts and discs for the Lidl Belt Sander on Ebay.

But will the cops pick you up for 'non-essential purchases' if you actually buy any of them?  {:-{

Think it is only really Wales that clamps down on that , as all DIY stores are open around here it must be allowed.  Also They do do online ..

The laser measure / stud finder is a total waste of time, the only thing its good for is the laser projected line, the stud finder option for it was bought for is hit and miss at the best of times - same goes for the amazon one I bought as well.  >>:-(

I found the laser line was good for projecting the water line onto models

I think I would be concerned about spares as a search doesn't bring up any other blades...but it was a quick Google search

I have had one of these bandsaws for a couple of years, spare blades are no problem. Many suppliers on ebay or online tool suppliers.

Might be a bit late but Aldi had a Dymo battery powered label printer for summit like 14 so I grabbed on as they're usually 30'odd and been looking for one on discount again for ages. Just my luck, when I put batteries in noticed some already fitted (label says not supplied). Switched on and it was a duffer return just put back on the shelf!  Exchanged it next day and all good but I guess it went back on shelf again for next unsuspecting person!  Very happy with the new one at 14 odd.  I didn't see much of the tools supposedly on offer but they were changing allot of stock.

...yip. I got one also. Cost me about 4EUR as they're common enough where I work.  Not a genuine one but works fine for the price!

I have the rhino label maker which has the useful function of printing onto heat shrink tubing to label cables. it also uses commercial grade labels that dont peel off after a few months
