well 53 later and I have lots of goodies and a belt sander, plenty of epoxy, I have to say I expected at least one spare belt for the sander - maybe those will be next weekend

I already have 5 of those type of things, so settled with a couple of the packs with the little flap wheels.

There is one pot of polishing compound, one of cutting discs and two of stick on sanding discs in the little pots.

The Dremel lookalike is a must for my tool box, if it's as good as the 12v multi tool
I will be happy.
Don't know about the solder station, screw in bits are a bit iffy for me I'll see what
They look like when they come in store on the 27th May.

The cordless drill looks pretty good, but 25,000 RPM is a waste of time.I am looking for a
replacement for my old Maplin cordless drill, it had an RPM range from around 1,700
to 12,700 which was more than enough for most jobs.

I almost always use my Dremel on the first speed setting (occasionally the second)
and those speeds are too high really - anything else vibrates too much and is virtually useless.

If Dremel bought out a drill with a planetary gearbox to reduce the speed range to a
quarter of what it is now I'd buy it in shot.

Anyone know if you can buy replacement / other tips for this or is it a throw away when the tips go bad ways?

I got one of the soldering work stations some time back and at 17.00 I am very happy with it.

As for replacement tips no idea, may just rewire a new iron into the base unit.

Lidl had some power tools in recently including a Buzz saw IIRC, and there were spare blades available separately. I don't recall them having these available the last time, so maybe the next time they stock the soldering station, they will also stock sets of tips.

Looks like a good week for modellers at both Lidl & Aldi this week!

https://www.aldi.co.uk/c/specialbuys/dates/2018-05-27?q=%3Apopular&page=1

https://www.lidl.co.uk/en/Non-Food-Offers.htm?id=658

the hand held saw blades will fit into a Bosch jig saw and vice versa, and the small what looks like a diamond encrusted blade will gut through grp without blunting......very good buy......those blades alone are 6 quid each.....use them when doing my moulds.

I think that you can buy it with a whole load of names printed on it but this is the cheapest that I know of.

If you look here you might see it several times:
