Thank you to monitor for me

This model belongs to a large French sailing champion, it was stolen in the city of Lorient this weekend. It will be very difficult to sell because there is a distinctive sign.

It has probably found its way into a second hand shop/been fenced already.
Check out Antique shops, especially those with a maritime bent.

Problem is the brass plaque can be removed or the stand discarded all together and the model sold as is cheaply. I doubt it will have left the country, so as I said will check ebay uk just in case. I do agree with TT that the model has probably found its way into a second hand shop or the like for a few Euros. If nothing else was taken from the office then I presume it was either, stolen to order-bizzare thing to just pinch though or, it is a spur-of-the-moment theft, thinking that due to the size and detail of the boat it is worth a lot of money. Not a nice thing to happen at all and do hope it is returned to the rightful owner-undamaged.

there is a distinctive sign that only the builder and owner experience with the police. It is a model built by the great Jean-Pierre TOUCHARD modeler for Franck CAMMAS. It will be very difficult to sell in the market
