What basic radio
« on: May 29, 2007, 05:25:03 pm »

I want to but a basic, read low cost second radio for a soling class boat I have.
Looking on e bay for 40meg am radio's they all seem to have the left Chanel sprung to center, I want a constant sweep top to bottom type.

Can you recommend a low cost unit I can hunt for ?

Thanks

Why not gust get a second receiver ??

or most futaba tx can be converted to eather some have the bits supplied

try Howe's in oxford  http://www.howesmodels.co.uk/RadioControl/viewProducts.php?CatID=47

but don't go to cheap or secondhand as there are some animals out there with radio gear

hi cliffords  what we do at fleetwood is remove the spring from the left hand rudder, this allows you to use a sail whinch with ease, and also do not buy that crap zebra radio, i had the misfortune of owning one and everybodys radio wiped me out.  hope this helps .andy
