Submarine in the aquarium

It will sound strange, but, I have aquarium on the 300 liters of water, and, I'm preparing 1/50 submarine as the decoration.
Paint - what can you say about this one? I decided that acrylic paint will suit and will help the plastic materials don't rot in the water. But I just don't know, may it cause some damage to fishes?

Cold water fishes. Father ain't decided yet what fishes it will be, but I think it doesn't matter, only tropical ones are very sensetive to EVERYTHING.

Thanks, but, is it 100% that it will not fade away. Plastic details have a specific ability to hold the paint extremely bad.
