if you look hard enough, theres a few ex military jets across the country up for grabs as part of group shares.
I was looking at joining a jet provost group based at newcastle airport, £150 an hour but you need to supply the fuel. It will burn a min of 600 litres per hour and its £1 a litre for jet a1.
Ok for a thrill but when jets are concerned, you need very deep pockets.
Think i'll stick with my piper warrior.
Or if your really feeling rich, you could do the hours and necessary training to go solo on a spitfire, this will cost around the £80,000 mark. Worth every penny i say.
