Hannah's Robbe Katja
« on: May 30, 2007, 06:50:23 pm »

Hello everyone, I have started to build the Katja kit I won at the Mayhem weekend.
I am replacing the running gear supplied in the box with Sloopy running gear and I am ditching the weedy 380 motor and fitting a spirit 600 motor instead (should make it a bit lively ;D ;D ;D).
Dad had to cut out and trim the plastic as it was too tough for me but I am doing the rest.
Here are a few pics hope you enjoy looking, I will keep you all updated as the build progresses.

Nahh, it should only hold me up for about a week, I have been doing bits and pieces on my little project when I was waiting for glue and paint to dry.

Hi Hannah,
Good looking project you got going there.  ;D  8)
I recently build of club 500 model very similar to that Robbe Katja. With the spirit 600 motor you are planning to put in, it should go pretty fast once you get it going in a straight line.

good luck with the rest of the build, I shall try and keep a luck at your progress.
Thanks
Daniel.

Hi Hannah,
You got that boat running in a shorter time than it took me to get my club 500 running!!!  ???

Keep up the good work
Thanks
