Suitable model for Graham Industries TVR1ABB engine?
« on: May 24, 2013, 05:54:54 pm »

Via email to Mayhem...

Good Afternoon,

I need some help as a rather ancient but novice builder.
I have a TVR1ABB engine, nearly run in on air and have had delivered from Maccsteam a 3 1/2" horizontal boiler and a 2" gas tank.

I wish to put this into a tug or similar boat for radio control and am asking for some advice at to what model (kit) this set up would be suited to.

Kind Regards,
Barry.

The "unknown large hull" from Red181 in Sales looks like it would do the job - if it is still for sale.  It's about the right size for the steam plant,  Not sure if this quite fits the "kit" requirement though.

Borkum and Victoria from Krick are both suitable for TVR, They are very nice comprehensive kits, and show the engine off in all its glory......
