As I fly planes would a FPV ( first person view ) video camera work . .
Just a thought

Super, this is what we need, especially the low swoops over the road.  :-))

{:-{  Wont work underwater apparently , transmissions are either 2.4ghz or 5.4ghz? & you'd need a towed surface array to get the signal out . . . it'd just be something else for the surface runners to collide with  %%   >>:-( wouldn't it be great if you could see where you were going underwater tho'? it would make the crash all the more spectacular  {-)

So no radio gear works under water ?
you do surprise me so when a model sub goes under then you have no control over it  %%

Now Now Bill you know surface runners run into subs even without a towed array. <*< <*<

Gazza Radio gear do`s work under water as long as you dont try and use 2.4 gigs as the signal will not penetrate water. Model submariners use 40 megs and you have full control of the sub down to probably 15 ft unless the water contains a lot of particals , is salt water or even swimming pool water they all reduce the safe controlable deapth you can go as to FPV with a sub water is not as clean as air so unless you are in a swimming pool or fresh clean water you wont see much anyway best way to see whats going on under water is to fit a keyfob typ camera into a water tight container recording onto a micro sd card and watch it later

Also Gazza check out my own video taken from a Thunder Tiger using an 808 key fob camera. Video was taken at New Brighton pool the home of the Wallasey model boat association, the clear water is attributed to the members cleaning the pool
