What do you think about this warning
« on: May 29, 2013, 12:27:54 am »

Copy of email doing the rounds in Oz, if correct, the implications are mind boggling and shame on the manufacturers for facilitating such a thing.

If this youtube video is accurate then all with these types of phones are vulnerable and need to take action. Law enforcement authorities have already indicated the problem with mass media such as facebook, twitter, etc

Please pass this on to anyone you think might be affected.

IMPORTANT          FYI  EVERYBODY   Subject: Warning about photos taken from phones, please watch this short clip. At the end it tells you how to fix it.

"Warning" If you, your kids or grand kids take pics from your phone---WATCH THIS!
This is truly alarming - please take the time to watch.
At the end they'll tell you how to set your phone so you don't run this risk! PLEASE PASS THIS INFO TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO  TAKES PICTURES WITH THEIR CELL OR SMART PHONE AND POSTS THEM ONLINE.   Click on the link below "http://www.youtube.com/embed/N2vARzvWxwY?rel=0

If you look in the settings of your smartphone/digital camera (some digital cameras now have these feature) you can turn the location stamp off.

It can be quite useful as well

This has been going on for about 5 years that I know of! All smartphones do this and a couple of years ago most digital cameras followed suit!
