Why are any threads started by me being deleted >:-o

Why did Kenny delete the thread 'a teeny bit rude'??

Is someone that much of a prude that they're offended by something a little risque that they have to have a mod delete it??

This pettiness really is getting beyond a joke now.

It was removed as that is not the subject matter that Martin or the Mods want on Mayhem.
This site was set up as a family friendly forum.
If you don't like it you know the option.

Perhaps more to the point, why did you want to start a thread entitled 'A teeny bit rude' on a model boating website?

We're all adults here.... well not all, and it the younger visitors to Mayhem I'm perturbed off.

I don't want anything on Mayhem that I would find embarrassing to explain when I meet a child's someone's parent at the next model boat show.

As Colin implies, there are plenty of smut elsewhere on the interweb so we don't need it on Mayhem... no matter how humerus it may be.

Thanks,
 Martin    :-))

I totally agree...........and if Ken Dodd can get through a four hour show which is meant for families WITHOUT ANY RUDENESS OR SMUTT...........I hope mayhem can do so to.

Since Ken Dodd is alledged to time his act with a calendar, he could probably go on a lot longer than 4 hours!!
 fully support Martin's position.

it doesnt take much nowadays to get a site flagged up for adult content, whereupon it gets blocked by both company and school content filters, the only way to avoid this is to keep things clean and child friendly. its a lot more difficult to get removed from these lists than it is to get onto them.

I agree whole heartedly with you Martin keep the smut where it belongs, this forum is for model boat building and we want to try and encourage youngsters into our hobby.

with respect....but a certain member on this site is allowed to 'gain' business and not supply products which have been paid for.

it really is a shame nothing has been done about that...  :((

im not Martin,

However when we spoke last, the general 'idea' was that the said member would be removed or at the very least not allowed to promote his business/products.

The matter is now being dealt with off mayhem, however im not the only person in this boat and this site is one of the reasons people have elected to use the person and not receive what they paid for...

I just hope you and the mods can actually decided on a way forward to stop this happening again. OK theres other model sites he uses, but i dont use them and others are the same...

no more to be said..
