Hi from West Byfleet, Surrey
« on: May 29, 2013, 08:54:12 am »

Hello everyone.
My name is mike and I am over 40 years young  ok2  .  I am a big fan of static built square rigged model ships.
I have already built four vessels comprising, two brigs, a cutter and a bomb vessel. I also have a first rate and a sloop in progress.
My main love is of constructing the rigging and all the fiddly bits. I love the detail and often add or improve on each model I build.
A natural thing to do as we all gain experience. I do not profess to be any kind of expert but I have a number of useful tips to pass on
if anyone is stuck.
                     Build on!
                                       Mike

Sorry I forgot to name the builds.
The first two are my novice build "Bounty".
The second two are "Endeavour".
The next two are Bomb vessel "Granardo".
Then two of "Lady Nelson".
Next, my current project "HMS Fly".
Finally two shots of my long term build "Victory".
