You lot give up far to easily. Does this mean that I get another go :}

A bridge is the correct answer of course. It is the last of the four bridges at Birkenhead to continue to work and dates from 1928 or thereabouts, it's still in continuous use being the main connection to the Twelve Quays ferry Terminal and the motorway system. It is due for replacement in the next two or three years.

New Brighton doesn't have a lighthouse! There is specific name.

hi ya Martin, I think you could be right - cos I just googled it I did - on Google maps.   You can see the wind farm behind it - but you have to type in Fort Perch Rock. New Brighton :-)

Perch Rock Lighthouse existed well before the fort and New Brighton were thought of. Here we see it on a benign evening in June of this year though it's not always like this. There are many images on Google including one of Bowwave getting his feet wet I see! If you come back a bit you may be able to discern Budgie Towers, currently undergoing extensive renovations.

As no one ever seems to be absolutely correct with guesses for LB's,  %)
I think Tica's pic refers to the International Student "Olympics", and the column is somewhere the games have taken place.
Unfortunately there are a lot of them, both Winter and Summer, since 1923 (Paris).
Given the type of plants and grass, I think it is Northern Hemisphere, but there is just too many places to search.
Wild guess - Paris?

Please don't pose new pictures until 'poser' has acknowledged a correct answer.

....... saves me a lot of confusion.   :-)

Thanks Chaps!

To be a poser, you must be first to correctly name
the last posers location.
You will then be allowed to pose  {-) {-) {-)

1. Where are they?
2. Can you guess what are they made of?

Oh-Oh, yes, I see I might have inadvertently sinned, but its too late now. Would it make amends if I asked all guessers to wait for an acknowledgement?  :embarrassed:
