“It is spring, moonless night in the small town, starless and bible-black, the cobbledstreets silent and the hunched courters'-and-rabbits' wood limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow, black, crowblack, fishingboat-bobbing sea.”

Twas indeed Captain Cat, The old blind sea captain who dreams of his deceased shipmates and lost lover Rosie Probert.

His statue stands in the Swansea's Maritime Quarter

Indeed!  The huge crack in the Larsen C ice shelf could one of the biggest ever.  A similar crack in the Brunt Ice shelf caused the British Antarctic Survey to move their Halley 6 research station.

Now if we look closely, we see that the image is not exactly square to the eye :o

There are two potential causes here......

1. that the photographer had one leg shorter that the other
2. that the building is leaning toward the right

Would I be warmish?...... {-).... Derek

It is certainly an opulent roof dome.....I cannot find it as a Church dome, or a Museum dome...and Google does not offer an image under all countries glass walled domes on buildings

Well we see the mist of Angles and stars in the blue night sky...

Could those Angles be of Russian Orthodox heritage?

Could this be the atrium in the Trump Towers roof?  %)

Mount Stuart house.....Isle of Bute

your turn, big bri.

picture of the rear of the building.............and anyone who has never been to it.............it is just unbelievable inside.

I also didn't know until the other day that it is owned by Johnny Dumfrise, aka John Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marquess of Bute, former formula 3 world champion, formula one racer and team mate of Ayrton Senna and Le Mans winner. Apparently all of his cars are locked away in the Vaulted cellars under the house
