Introduction.
« on: June 04, 2013, 06:57:54 pm »

Hi Guys,
My name is Ian and I live in Cheshire near Northwich.
I have been a member of the Crewe and District Model Boat Club for about 4 years.
I am now retired and like many other Pensioners, don't know how I ever found the time to go to work.

I own a Robbe Najade (my first build) a Kyosho Seawind Yacht and a Model Slipway 16th scale Tamar Lifeboat (my second and latest build).

I launched the Tamar this last Sunday and it went very well, much to my relief.

My first question is really for the Lifeboat enthusiasts. I would like to fit a sound unit to the Tamar (Action Electronics P100 Noisy Thing)
and would appreciate any advice you can give as how to install it in this particular model to get the best sound reproduction.

I would also like to fit a flag to the mast and would appreciate if anyone knows where I could obtain a 16th scale version.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers for now,

Ian   :}

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the info. on speakers etc. I had a 'trawl' through the links and found some interesting comments to take on board.
