How do?

Navy Portholes. Do they come in a standard size or do they vary with age and design of ship?

I am researching the details for my HMS Rupert and she has the interim square gun port style openings with a round window in each. If these are of a standard Royal navy size then has anyone an idea of the diameter? If they vary across the victorian decades, what size might they be? I estimate that the square ports are 3.5mm high and possibly the same wide, so the round port will be a touch smaller. I have images but they are small and the edges are indistinct.

Any help would be appreciated:O)
