Hi guys, could anyone out there tell me what is the maximum
size of 4 blade prop I can fit on a Graupner Speed 700 BB
Turbo 9.6v. I intend running on 12v.

It really does depend on the weight of the object being pushed. What do have in mind ?

If using 4 props then I would think 40mm would do nicely for this model.  If you reduce the diameter then the current consumption would decrease and battery life increase.

The 700 is a fast spinning motor so smaller props might be better.

Yes, I would test her on 40mm first to see how it goes.

Personally i wouldnt run 4 bladed props on this motor you will kill it....this motor needs to rev so 2 bladed would be the way ahead starting with 35 mm and go up to a max of 55

Hi, following advice on here, I run a 37" Perkassa with the 700 turbo and a X45 prop on 14.4V.  Goes at what I consider a nice scale speed having seen an old movietime(?) film of the original where it 'don't 'alf go' !!     Running on 12V should give quite a nice scalish speed ...  ???
