Web Site
« on: June 13, 2013, 06:19:06 pm »

I am posting for the first time. I dont think I have ever come across such a sophisticated web site which has overwelmed this 74year old. I thought I was fairly savvy but I obviously have a lot to learn. Am I alone in thinking like this?
I have been modelling for 50 years both planes and boats. I am now clearing the house with a view to moving to Canada so need to find good homes for my models and equipment before I go. I am hoping this might be a good place to start.
Thanks for your time1

Hello there and welcome to the forum.

It isn't as bad as it looks for navigation. just scroll down on the left hand side of your screen until you find the forum you wish to look at. There is also a sales section but you may need to do some more posts-25 IRC to have access to listing and placing of pictures-the item for sale must have a picture + description.

Shame you cannot take all your models with you. Anything cheap first dibs to me  ok2

Just a bit of a joke at first about the forum.

Hello Jimbo and indeed welcome to our little club.   :-))

We are flattered that you like the site and hope you plan to stay around for a long time.  The time will fly by as there is so much to read and the subjects so varied. The entry codes to stop spammers will soon disappear and you will soon find the subject threads that interest you best.

Our sales section is very popular, so once you reach 25 posts we all look forward to rummaging in your workshop.   :}

All the best

Thanks Ken. I am beginning to get the gist of the system which seems very thorough and safe so I am quite enjoying it!
