hi I am new to model boat mayhem but I have been making model boats for a lot of years. starting off with kits & now scratch building as much as I can .my interest started with a kit of caldercrafts ss talacre which I bought from Canterbury model shop after there had been a fire the box was black with smoke damage & I bought it unopened (as nobody wanted to touch it) for £10 & they threw in a big handful of paintbrushes & boxes of Tamiya paints which I am still using . the model still survives but it was the end of Canterbury model shop

Pop in and see us at the Model Boat Association Dover, we sail at Kearsney Abbey Lake and have a Web Site.

Hi Django, Welcome to the Mayhem!
( NB: please set your watch to ZULU... not GMT, Michael Caine type! )
Was the kit BNIB when you opened it?

Yes Martin kit was complete & as new as the day it left caldercraft. It would be nice to have another little touch like that again just a case of being in the right place at the right time
