not too bad at the moment........better than it has been in recent years........and we are getting a decent bit of sunshine in between the usual showers..........so can't complain at the moment.

As I look out across Liz's lovely garden on what is Mid-Summer Day the sky is a dreary, flat grey colour. We are promised that it might not rain today but the weekend will be cool, cloudy and probably wet. I seem to have heard that before...............  {:-{
I can count the number of hot sunny days we've had in Nottingham this year on the fingers of maybe both hands, but that's about it.
To quote Terry Wogan (on going to Ireland) "Sure, nobody comes here for the weather".

Tell him to stay away from the East Coast.
This 'Summer' even on the few sunny days
we have had a breeze or more blowing in
over a cold North Sea giving us temperatures
well below average .
To cap it all it has been raining for the past 18 hours.

Weather is as Croc say very fine in the Highlands but the 100 vintage Bugattis are going to get wet at the weekend on the way home after their Scottish tour.

All I would say is bring wellies and no need for sun block or better still cancel till maybe later in the year when weather might be dryer and warmer,(round about Christmas).

looks like my friend picked a good time to travel. nice weather there by the sound of it. strange here though. 20C yesterday and not much cooler today  when it would normally be 10 to 15 on a really good day.
