Can anyone tell me if i can paint over grey primer with fibre glass resin or will it make the primer peel off.

I think so..... primer is quite porous so I think you can.  Would suggest a test on some scrap material tho

The best practice with any glue/resin is never glue onto paint as the glue is bonding to the paint not to the material under the paint plus to insure a good bond and seal when using glue/resin you need to break the surface your bonding to with sandpaper or a file to give the glue/resin something to bond to .
