   i am in big bother will not have finshed my grand sons boat for school holidays so looked at mtb from airfix can any body tell me what size it is in feet and inches please

Would that be the 1/72nd one? I built a static one a few years back for my mates grandson, if memory serves, it is about 11 inches long, I think there was a Plastic Magic episode in Model Boats mag that featured one some time back.....

If you enter in the main search engine airfix vosper, you will find the airfix kit described, a small boat, others have rc'd ones better than my build, but you get the idea.

There's an article in MODEL BOATS JULY issue about motorising the ITALIERI Vosper MTB , @ 1:35 scale it's 63cm x 16cm (25" x 6.5" to the inebriated  %% ) and , at £80 , it's cheaper to buy him some sweets . . .

The Terrier was my very first motorised boat that I built as a lad after many years of plastic models.
