very small tug
« on: July 13, 2013, 04:00:22 PM »

When I was in Maui last year there was a lovely little tug in the harbor in Lahaina named Roxie. I spoke to the Captain & he told me it was built on a car parking lot in either Portland or Seattle. It is very small indeed & maneuvers very well. They use it to push a holiday type sub that takes tourists for trips out around just outside the harbour. He told me he also helps other boats to dock, he was a real friendly fellow. If you Google it you will get lots of pictures & information on it. It might make a nice subject for someone to build a model of. Lahaina is also a nice town to spend the day for food & shopping.
