Hitec receiver HFS-05MS
« on: July 16, 2013, 12:12:00 am »

I have a couple of HItec receivers models HFS-05MS, just as a matter of interest, am I being a little obtuse here - where do you connect the power - I have used feathers on previous boats as they only needed rudder and motor, but I am unsure as to where to connect the power on this type. For my latest project I am going to look for a BEC utilised 3ch receiver (40MHz) anyway, but I have a couple of these receivers and have never used them before.

Thanks in advance

Those are designed for small parkflyers that have speed controllers with integrated BEC
You can wire the rx battery to any unused channel (check polarity and positioning tho) or use a receiver battery pack on a Y lead to one of the used ones.

Thanks for that, got about 4 of them for the plastic fantastic fleet, that are still in their boxes - too much work to have time to build them, I can now use it on the current project - 4 chanels, now that gives me an idea  :embarrassed:
