« on: October 04, 2013, 06:45:29 pm »

Hello all,
Just about to start my new project,46" Sea Queen (CNC cut version) do I need to alter anything in the build, or is it ok to build as per instructions?
the only part I will change is the motor, brushless set up will be used.
Thanks,
Paul.

Hi Paul,

If the propshaft exits the hull at more than 7°,  it's worthwhile to lengthen the propshaft to achieve a more shallow angle.

With 5500 rpm under load, the performance will be 'scale like'.

If that's what your after, go for it.
If you have room to let your boat run full throttle over a longer distance, check out the video at the end of my MAS thread:
