  Hello

Lots of people use the Z cut for the modern nuke hulls with an added lip on the front so the front has something to hold onto and at the rear they use another lip which has a screw hidden by something on top to secure that end.

 Hello Again

Just my thoughts about magnets. Would they have any affects on the electronics? Also with foam used for keeping the hull at surface trim as well as the weight below that, could you run the risk of the submarine splitting in two halves?

Hi,
Indexing lip at the front, screw at the rear disguised as a bollard / capstan etc at the rear.Or the other way around
You will find that with a sub you will get some  surface dwellers run over you unless you sail on a subs only day / lake. And the first thing that gets hit is the tower / deck.

Make sure its well secured or you may loose it.
Regards.
