Flying Spindrift Props
« on: August 01, 2013, 12:09:12 pm »

Hi all,

I recently bought a Flying Spindrift kit off a fellow forum member and would like some recommendations on what props to use.

I know the original Tyne kit came with props but these weren't with the model as purchased so I need to source some more.
I have the Korts so they'd need to fit in there, but apart from that I'm open to ideas!

Thanks in advance,

Alex

The best props are from Simon at Prop Shop, he will make a pair to fit the kort nozzles, they are the best props. They are cast, not fabricated and do not bend like a fabricated prop.

Very good advice, you can't go wrong with The Prop Shop, not cheap but the best available. Mick B.

Hi Alex, as you have mentioned the Spindrift kit normally comes with props supplied. Prop Shop used to supply the props for the Spindrift quite a while ago. I don’t think they do now. If my memory serves me well the Kort props that were supplied used to be 58mm.
Hope this helps

Thank you gentlemen, I'll give the prop shop a call in the morning, much appreciated. I don't mind spending money to get quality.
