Can this be done ?

Hi all, I recently changed from a 2 channel 27mhz system to a 4 channel 2.4ghz system, it works fine but I do not like the fact that the left hand stick is only sprung in the horizontal position. is it possible to fit extra springs so that it is sprung in both directions like thr right hand stick ? I feel the left hand stick has a dead feel to it. The transmitter is a radio link. Thamks for all replies.

Not a problem Tam.
I have done it as per some instructions on here
by Dodgy Geezer. Can't find the thread but someone
will know.
It involves making a little plastic part, getting a spring
to fit and removing the metal arm that acts as a ratchet.

Yep. Just take the arm and spring off one of the sprung motions and copy them. (You just unhook the spring and the arm wiggles off.)

Do you access these from the front or the back of the transmitter ?

Remove four screws at the back. Lift back off, but carefully as there are still wires connecting it to the front.
Quality isn't always great with these so have a look for poor solder joints, etc, while you're in there and touch up as needed.
