Glad I saw her sailing at Wicksteed recently, looking in her natural element. 
Having the turrets finished is the pièce de résistance of the wonderful build.  :-))

As a design it still looks potty bonkers, but I am sure it would ave put the willies up an enemy crew expecting a normal sub armed with a pop gun.

The cruiser submarine was a concept that ended up frightening the Royal Navy and had to be "dis-invented."  (Who would have benefited most from attacking merchant fleets - Britain or Germany?)

Great project and model! I look forward to seeing her.
