Day 3 started with a raid of my mothers loft, found some 9mm ply from my late fathers projects which I shall use for the keel and frame assembly, also found some wooden slats from a kitchen blind 25mm wide 2mm thick bends and twist nicely so shall give this a go for planking the hull..

After spending a couple of hours tangled up in paper cuttings and sticky tape I managed to fit all frame templates on one sheet of recycled ply stuck down with the kids glue stick robed from the stationary draw, "I will replace it honest"

Day 9 Had a lazy day today, all that,s been done is I shaved and sanded the angles on the frame pieces so planking fits flush. need to wait for some parts to turn up prop shaft mainly so i can line up and drill the keel before glueing frame sections

Day 16 Well the hull planking is done, that was the worst job by far, and when I removed it from the jig the rear frame was out of line grrrr apart from that it seems to be all in shape.. will give it a full day to dry off now before removing all them pins..

Day 17 Ok all them pesky pins was removed today it held up great, have pre sanded it ready for filler, shape don't look too bad I am pleased with the result so far although I did forget to mention before planking there was some issues with frames 8.9.10 had to shave off a lot on one side of these frames as the they where not uniform with the other side.. hand drawn plan problem so I would recomend anyone building from this plan is to take one side of each frame templet and mirror that side for the other side to save this problem..

Day 18/19 The last couple of days I fitted the base for the motor mount lined up great, also dry fitted the rudder had to make a block for the rudder to sit flush and straight for a good seal, as you can see in the pictures quite pleased with the result bit of carving with a wood rasp..

Made a battery mount for the titan piece of ply 2 screws and screw cups and a piece of rubber glazing seal from a green house to secure it, bat fits perfect in between frames with about 1mm clearance was lucky there.. will glue in to place at a later date as it can go in 1 or two places within the hull depending on ballast and how she sits in the water..
