Single Kort Propeller, RH or LH??
« on: August 26, 2013, 11:27:48 pm »

Hi all,
Just after a little info on purchasing a single kort propeller RH or LH??
I have a mmm models brakengarth tug fitted with a T24 motor driving a 90mm powerkort prop and im unsure whether to fit a RH or LH kort propeller, would there be any difference in performance, which one would be the best to fit RH or LH for best power, manoeuvrability control etc...
Cheers Dave.

No real difference Dave as long as motor not timed for any particular rotation.
You can check by connecting a battery direct to motor and checking rpm.
If the same each way no difference.
If different whichever direction gives the higher rpm should be ahead.

MMM liaise with prop shop over props for their range
as they do not supply their own.
Prop shop will have the answer if you tell them the
Model, motor and nozzle size.
