From an article by Ruairi O`Kane in the Sunday Times,, June 10th 2007; The puffer, Auld Reekie, that played the part of the "Vital Spark" on BBC Tv is about to take possibly it`s final voyagefrom Crinan Basin where it has lain for 12 years. Purchased by the Inveraray Maritime Museum but lacking funds required for restoration. An appeal hasnt generated the estimated £400,000 needed. Full article on page 3.
