Didn't know there was any difference between Mode 1 and Mode 2 for receivers  :o
I have a couple of these purchased from HK in HK as no UK stock. I have briefly used one of them didn't find any problems, but this was reasonably short range and not high speed.

ive been using the orange receivers for a little under a year now coupled with my spektrum dx6i tx , not had any problems with range , or loosing bind etc , of the 12 i have in use only one has failed , but that was due to it getting rather wet when my boat capsized ! ive seen the opaque orange transmitters , and there available through my source of receivers , but ive not used one , ive already got two spektrum a dx7s  and a dx6i jon

I use orange RX's in tugs, yachts and fast electric
for the last two years with no issues at all.
As already stated, no difference in modes on RX's
Modes are stick configuration on TX.
Did you mean the Orange TX?
