Ayup.......
« on: September 11, 2013, 09:10:11 am »

Morning peeps.  Just popped in to say a quick hello and introduce myself.

Just returning to RC model boat building after a long absence (about 20 years).  Previous builds include a German side trawler (kit), Thames barge (semi kit) and Victorian steam launch (scratch built with steam plant)...... all with 27MHz radio gear!

Slowly getting my knowledge up-to-date (when I last sailed 40MHz was the new 'in thing'!!!).

Just started building a 63' Whaleback ASR and guiding my old dad who's new to this game in building an RAF crash tender.

Anyway, cheers for now, I'm off for a browse round the forum.

Kev. :-))

welcome Kev.......don't worry about 40 MHz and 27 mhz..............I'm selling my 2.4 ghz and going back to 40 MHz as I find it far superior reception on salt water..........nowt wrong with the old stuff.
