HMS Halcyon
« on: October 07, 2013, 10:11:14 pm »

Hi Folks,
Does anyone out there know of a model for the 'Halcyon class minesweeper'

I've found John Lamberts plans for HMS Harrier but my mate would prefer a kit !

Thanks for your thoughts

Hi Kev.
Only sweep kit for that period is Deans Algerine.

Sirmar may do a 48th Algerine hull.
Not much help if he wants a Halcyon though.

Hopefully Sirmar may do a Bangor as well.

Thanks for your thoughts.
I don't profess to know anything about WWII minesweepers but checking the dimensions, there are no similarities in dimension between Halcyon, Algerine and Bangor class !
