Halfords clear laquer

If I use Halfords clear lacquer, as a sanding sealer on bare wood, as Stavros suggests, will the Halfords rattle can car paint be ok on top of this, or will I get the dreaded crazed reaction  >:-o

Hi I use it as a wood sealer with NO problems.....just apply as I suggested I have NEVER had a problem doing this
