I haven't posted for a while. so here goes. do you guys do any boating during the winter. something I have noticed lately is there doesn't seem to be the variety of topics  here. looks like there are fewer topics but more replies to them. don't know whether that is fact or just the timing of when  I am on here. not an issue just an observation but could be an explanation why its quieter than usual. less topics = less interest. maybe..

Too right, it is now past 30 degrees Celsius and looking to 40 very soon. O0 O0
Suppose it is time to take of the winter gear %) %)
I thought it has been quite for some time we seem to have "lost" some regular contributors.

must admit, I've been unfaithful to the hobby and bought myself a ukulele, now instead of posting pics I find myself watching youtube tutorials all evening, I will keep you all updated on the builds though.

Beautiful sailing day yesterday, warm sunny with little wind.  Batteries that last 3 to 4 hours are a must.
I tend to sail all year, providing its not raining, too windy, or solid ice.

My current model rework is going well, but I am only posting progress on completed and tested stages.
Enjoying the progress on HMS Exeter and RMT Resolve builds, but not many builds going on right now.

No building of anything here, although I do visit the forum every day and read the new posts that interest me.the impending arrival of that day in December has put the brakes on most of my activities, I already have a number of lists from my children and the occasional hint from her indoors, 10 days before that are two birthdays of previously mentioned individuals, if I can afford a bottle of brandy and a pack of cigs. afterwards I'll be happy Ho Ho Hoooo  {:-{ .

I've been busy building, and sailing, tried posting last week but my Internet connection kept saying 'No'! :((
After a bit of pressing and prodding (and a few threats with a lump hammer!) and finally a reset (the usual turn off and back on again) the problem was 'cured' and eventually the new iMac/iPad updates came through and as you can see I have no problems anymore! :-))
Looking forward to the Warwick show in 4.5 weeks time, plenty of posts after that show!

Had a computer crash about 26 hours ago >:-o , but all is O.K. now...but, then, my 'now' (22:15 Atlantic Standard Time) is 'tomorrow' in the U.K. so I suppose that my computer crash was 'the day before yesterday' in the U.K. but sure did feel like 'yesterday' to me.
All of this, of course, is even less meaningful (or comprehensible!) to anybody in En Zed or Oz or China or India! %%
Traplet pilot boat kit should be here any day now, and I promise to commence construction immediately! I won't attempt to identify the 'day' it arrives; I've already caused enough trouble for one day - whatever day this turns out to be! O0
