Ellesmere Port Model Boat Show

The 2014 Ellesmere Port Model Boat Show is on the 1st. and 2nd. March.  It is the usual format of traders, boat clubs, bring and buy sale, David E Owen competition and on the water sailing for everyone subject to frequency control and of course the weather.

Unless the trade areas are sorted out better I think there will be even fewer stands than this year  {:-{  trying to lug heavy/bulky stock up those narrow stairs & over the bridge is no joke , even the lift's on the small side . . .
No possibility of the ground floor on the island next year ? or even the conference centre ? just a thought . . .

bill sounds like you never been there the stairs are wide and there are 2 lifts for the trade to use the only complaint was from good old john poll of model power just before he retired and I didn't blame I would not like to unload his van even down hill lol

I stand corrected over the trade lifts  :-X , BUT it's on an island , and it aint easy to get stuff from vans up there , I've been to the Ellsmere show off & on since it started & the trade side of it seems much reduced to what it once was . . . may be a sign of the economic climate these days ?
