Calling all machinists
« on: October 13, 2013, 08:21:28 pm »

Looking for a nice chap (or Chapess) to knock up some wheel adaptors for my sons RC car

Its a simple job and if I was still in Finland I could do it myself.

12mm dia hex bar (aluminium, Mild steel, brass or WHY is fine) about 5mm thick.
Drilled through the centre with a 4mm hole
finally a tapped grubscrew into one of the flats

Can anyone help me out??
Only proviso is that I need them by the end of next week
Beer tokens supplied

yes kind of
They are normally for a 5 or 6mm axle.... but it doesn't matter now
A bit of lateral thinking with some plastic tubing and some old hexes from another model got the job done
