pw569
sorry if my reply seemed as if i was refering to your post as a scale issue to complain.
i didnt mean for it to come out that way my frend. i was just agreeing with you as to the scale of the graupner kits
my apologies if it seemed that way  :-))
and yes i would agree 1/40th scale guns would look fine on the model. so now i have more options for the guns lol
best regards

Mick!

looking good! A quick pace as well! Congrats.

Do you have drawings?

Some niche detail pictures can be found "hidden" on the previous posted link for the Arbeitskreis Historischer Schiffbau.
Some of the exhibition pictures show the KFK. Look at this shot for the winch under the aft weapon platform (Dusseldorf 1012):

Or 40mm forward:

hi pw569 and thanks for the comments mate.
i dont have a drawing just some pics i got off the net.
the 40 mm gun on the pic you have showen looks good and i have found a shop selling this gun in 1/40th scale should be ok. so time to order it and a single 20mm for the stern platform. :-))
after checking the pics the mast i have fitted is wrong so it will be removed lol (what i would give for an good drawing now lol)

Great build!

...you want to install those AA guns soon, it would be a shame if the boat is attacked by some inconsiderate
Tommy raiders like MOSQUITOS or BEAUFIGHTERS at zhis advanced state of completion! <*<

Finished?

...allthough, we did have a great summer...would not be surprised if the yard sent the workers out to enjoy the sun!

With the storm this weekend, guess it could be a good time to enter the yard again!

Cheers!
