Deans Marine will be at the show, they have let him out of the hospital (VETS)
Will be at the Cracker weekend with lots of nice new releases on show, plus the Trumpeter Missouri, Arizona, Bismark, and the 1/200 Sovremennys.
See you
 Regards
 Deans Marine

why do folk put helicopters on vessels like grampian pride - the yellow spot if only an indication of where a person has to be lifted off-- a helispot is marked with a letter H

I agree. Either it was a joke (?) or somebody doesn't know the difference between a winching area and a landing spot. That chopper is also well out of scale.

The old Stirling Merlin! You'll know all about the problems of keeping those winching circles and the surrounding decks 'non-slip'. Not to mention trying to coax some speed out of that Class with a fouled hull...

Because it's his/her model and they can.
Unless you are counting rivets, going for shiny of the show
you build what you want to.
Dogs on Puffers don't have this problem
although most guys who have lived in the puffer age
and had dealings with them don't recall dogs peeing
on crewmen.

Rant over.

Ned

PS The burger van turned up nice an early :-)) :-))
