Oerlikon & Bofors
« on: November 08, 2013, 11:03:12 pm »

Hi Guys

I have a future project in mind for a Boston Typhoon type ASW Trawler in 1:32. As I have injured my ligaments I can't build much just now so research Is a good option. Anyway I was looking for a 4" gun plan and I found these documents. Lots of other stuff on the site and many pictures of manuals are really links. I just thought someone might like to see them.

These PDF's are quite big

Oh any comments on suitable ASW vessels would be welcome. ?... or directions to a 4" plan  O0

You could try here Dave.....

I`m researching armed trawlers too (looks like were planning the same project) and found that 12 pounders were the most common fit, the bigger conversions like the Dance class mounted the 4 inch and a couple of the Fish class and Military class mounted them too.
The Lambert drawings are fantastic :-))

I know its 1/96 but my caster is busy producing the 4" Mk X1X carried on castle class frigates and various other small RN craft. Fleetscale now sell my Castle hull .
