conversion to electric power of a Monsoon 900 sailboat
« on: June 18, 2007, 07:26:14 am »

Here is our idea : we own a broken Monsoon 900 hull, made of fiberglass. We would like to patch the gash on the hull and convert the boat to an electric powered boat.

Any advice on how to do ? Did any of you convert a sail boat to a motor boat ?

The order of things to do would be roughly :
1) fix the hull
2) choose a correct motor and propeller
3) install the whole thing...

I post again the hull picture
