50 inch fast electric mono hull set up.
« on: November 20, 2013, 11:42:02 am »

I have just ordered a 50 inch P1 boat hull http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiberglass-50-P1-boat-hull-rc-boat-/151081505560?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item232d28d318

I have no idea as to the following:
Single or duel motor set up?
Which motor(s) should I buy depending on set up?
What Esc(s) should I buy depending on motor(s)? I have a spare Seaking 180amp Esc which would be nice to use but not essential. Takes 6 cell maximum.
Should I use stinger or strut and which one(s)?
Prop(s) to suit motor(s) suggestion?
Thanks in advance to all who might be able to help.
Cheers
Everyone

Thanks Ian.

Interesting information. I have to say those motors in the Apache look small but seem to do the trick.
