Generally speaking, the same colour as the superstructure behind. That said, I have seen a picture of KGV in her previous disruptive scheme carrying an admiral's barge with a dark hull and white upperworks.

The Adms barge will be different than the usual outfit of ships boats. The latter are usually the same as the main ship while the Adms barge performs it's own role.

How do the ships boats look in photographs of the period?

I just sprayed mine the same colour as the deck with black tops. Been so long since I built the model I have forgot where I got the colour scheme. Does look good in the dark
